His academic pursuits took him further to the College of Commerce and Distribution in Glasgow, Scotland, where he qualified as a Professional Accountant.

Throughout his distinguished career, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II has demonstrated a strong commitment to the fields of accounting, taxation, and public service. He is a proud member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and the Ghana Institute of Taxation, reflecting his dedication to upholding the highest standards of professional integrity and expertise. His professional journey began with the Internal Revenue Service, where he served as an Investigating Accountant, playing a crucial role in ensuring financial accountability and transparency. He later joined Deloitte and Touche, a renowned firm of professional accountants, where he excelled as an Audit Senior and subsequently as a Partner, contributing significantly to the firm’s growth and reputation.

In addition to his work in the accounting sector, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II has held key positions in the private sector, including serving as Chief Internal Auditor for Mankoadze Fisheries Limited and Wangs Ltd. His expertise in financial management and internal controls has been instrumental in strengthening the operations of these organizations.

He has served on several important boards and committees, including the Internal Audit Agency from 2005 to 2008, the Bishop Ackon Memorial Eye Centre in Cape Coast from 2008 to the present, and the Tema Oil Refinery Limited from 2009 to 2011. He was also appointed as a Commissioner on the Constitution Review Commission, where he contributed to shaping national policy and governance. As a representative of the National House of Chiefs, he served on the Public Interest and Accountability Committee under the Petroleum Act, ensuring that the interests of traditional authorities and local communities are represented in national resource management.

As the Paramount Chief of Oguaa (Cape Coast), Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II has played a pivotal role in promoting the welfare and development of his people.
