H. E. Nana Saa Gyamfuaa II is the revered Queen mother of Anyima in the Kintampo south district of the Bono East region. She has been a queen mother for the past three decades.
Nana Saa Gyamfuaa II was an elected member of the sixth (6th) Council of State of the Fourth Republic representing the then Brong Ahafo Region from February 2013 to January 2017.
She is highly respected for her unwavering commitment to traditional leadership, national service and grassroots development.
Nana Saa Gyamfuaa’s collaborations and partnerships with governmental institutions, civil society organizations and development partners ensured sustainable development initiatives across the then Brong Ahafo Region.
As traditional ruler, Nana Saa Gyamfuaa has been instrumental in promoting peace, unity, and social harmony not only within her traditional area but in the entire Bono, Bono East and Ahafo regions.
A woman leadership advocate, an entrepreneur, she dedicates herself to mentoring and building the capacity of young women to become active participants and contributors in national development.
The President again appointed Nana Saa Gyamfuaa as a member of the Ninth (9th) Council of State in February 2025 due to her contributions and commitment to Ghana’s development agenda during her tenure in the Sixth(6th) Council of the Fourth Republic.
