H.E. HRM Drolor Bosso Adamtey I

H.E. His Royal Majesty Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, Se Matse (Paramount King) of the Shai Traditional Area, is a distinguished Traditional Ruler, global statesman, educator, development strategist, entrepreneur, international best-selling author, and humanitarian. With over four decades of leadership experience, his work spans international development, governance, diplomacy, public policy, traditional authority, peacebuilding, and economic transformation at national, continental, and global levelsn February 2025, HRM was elected to represent the Greater Accra Region on the Council of State for the next four (4) years.

On the global stage, HRM has served in senior advisory and leadership roles including as Special Advisor to the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Director of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for Africa. He served as the very first Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (2014–2019) and currently serves as Chancellor of the Caribbean Maritime University (Jamaica), Council Chairman of Accra Metropolitan University (Ghana), and Council Chairman of Truth Bible University and Seminary (United States).
