H.E. Amb. Mrs. Molly Anim-Addo is a member of the Council of State for the Republic of Ghana. She is an experienced business leader with decades of experience in Women’s development and Advocacy.
Amb. Anim-Addo was educated at Achimota Secondary School and hold Certificates in Management from the Ghana institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
From January 2015 to January 2017, she served as Ghana’s Ambassador to Italy with accreditation to Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Montenegro, and Turkey. In this role, she distinguished herself, focusing on enhancing trade, investment, cultural ties as well as supporting the Ghanaian diaspora in these European countries.
She served as Chairperson for the National Council on Women and Development and was President of the West Africa Women Association.
Internationally, Ambassador Anim-Addo has also been a champion of Women’s rights for decades. She served as the Leader of the delegation to the 43rd and 44th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (1998,1999), 40th Anniversary Celebration of ECA Focus on Women and Economic Development (1998) and the 6th Africa Conference of Women in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (1999).
She has served on several boards nationally including Social Investments Fund, Human Traffic Management Fund, Judicial Council, Ghana Standards Board.
Ambassador Anim-Addo has served from 1999 to date as a Director of Green Pastures and Still Waters Limited, a successful Real Estate Company. She also served as Director of Hospitality and Managing Director for the Kama Conference Centre in Accra.
She is a member of the National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress and Vice Chairperson of the Council of Elders of Greater Accra Chapter of the National Democratic Congress.
Ambassador Anim-Addo is also involved in charitable causes with visits and donations to the Osu Children’s Home and the Osu Market Widows Foundation.
In her free time, Ambassador Anim-Addo enjoys cooking, baking, and gardening.
