H.E Alhaji Naa Saaka Abuba is a Ghanaian business executive, traditional authority, and public servant with extensive experience in infrastructure development, agribusiness, and national governance. He was born on January 1992 in Wungu, North East Region, and has spent his life combining enterprise development with community leadership and public service.

He received his primary education at Wungu Junior High School and continued his secondary education at Walewale Secondary School, laying a strong foundation for his professional and leadership journey. Alhaji Abuba is married and a father of six children, reflecting strong family values alongside his public responsibilities.

Alhaji Abuba is the Chief Executive Officer of Kuluhakpaya Company Limited, a diversified Ghanaian company engaged in road construction and agri-commodities, particularly maize, soya, and rice. With over 12 years of experience, he has led commercial farming operations and large-scale project delivery, with a strong focus on land mobilisation, outgrower integration, job creation, and inclusive agribusiness models.

In addition to his private sector leadership, he is the Chief of Kuba in the North East Region, a role that provides deep grassroots legitimacy and strengthens his ability to align development initiatives with local priorities. His political and governance experience includes serving as Zonal Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, a member of the party’s Regional Council of Elders, and a party financier, contributing to party organization and strategic decision-making.

Alhaji Naa Saaka Abuba is a current member of Ghana’s 9th Council of State, elected from North East Region under the administration of his H.E. John Dramani Mahama. He brings to the Council a unique blend of youth, traditional leadership, private sector execution, and political experience, positioning him to offer practical, inclusive, and development-oriented advice at the highest level of the Ghanaian state.
