The remits of this committee are ;
a. They analyse the factors and elements that drive the economy and make recommendations to the council,
b. To examine policies and programmes of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and other public organizations involved with the economy and make recommendations for effective and efficient execution of such programmes,
c. To consider matters of economic and development concern for further deliberation by the council with the president,
d. To examine the state of the special development concern for further deliberation by the council with the president,
e. To examine the state of the special development initiatives of the President and report to the Council,
f. To consider any other matters referred to it by the council
